Our Products
Pressure Die Casting Lubricants
Through years of working closely with the High Pressure Die Casters in the Philippines, as well the OEM’s such as Toshiba and Toyo, our company has developed a portfolio of lubricating products that have been tested and proven to be appropriate for your Die Casting Machines.
Press and Stamping Oils
Fluid Solutions, Inc. has an extensive range of lubricating products that guarantees productive and reliable Press and Stamping operations for your company.
Machining and Grinding Fluids
The right selection of a machining and grinding fluid, whether it be water-soluble or straight, is a daunting task considering the myriad of variables that may affect machined or ground output quality. To make it easy for the machine operator, we have compiled an extensive range of machining and grinding fluids that are applicable for various metals, and for the different severities the machining and grinding jobs entail.
Wire Drawing Lubricants
We work with the global technology leaders for the process lubrication of both ferrous and non-ferrous wire drawing, to offer the Filipino wire drawer a comprehensive range of lubricants for all types of operations.
Die Cast Machine Lubrication
To keep the Die Cast Machines running at optimum output at all times, with minimal downtime, Fluid Solutions, Inc. has compiled a portfolio of lubricating products tested and used by DCM’s for many years. Such lubricants include hydraulic oils, slideways, and various greases.
Hydraulic Oils – Mineral Based
Our LUBERITE AW series is an HLP mineral-based lubricant containing low-zinc Anti-Wear (AW) additives, meeting quality levels of Denison, Vickers and Cincinnati Machines. It is highly recommended for use in high-pressure hydraulic systems, and may also be used for lightly loaded gearboxes and bearings not requiring Extreme Pressure (EP) additives.
Fire-Resistant – Water-Glycol Solution
Petrofer’s Ultra-Safe 620 provides virtual total safety from accidental fires due to its outstanding fire-resistance in all hydraulic equipment operating in an environment of molten metal. It also provides a long fluid life due to its resistance to oxidation compared to mineral oils. Moreover, Ultra-Safe 620 possesses excellent lubrication and anti-wear properties.
Fire-Resistant HFDU Polyesters (Synthetic)
Quaker Quintolubric 888 – 46 and 68 are designed to replace anti-wear type mineral oils in applications where Fire Hazards are present. It is also frequently used as an alternative to Water-Glycol HFC fluids, when wear resistance & lubrication is desired, and when superior anti-rust capability is required. The product does not contain any mineral oil, phosphate esters nor water. Field experience has proven that Quintolubric 888-46, when properly maintained, can last up to five (5) years with optimum performance.
Slideway Oils
Our LUBERITE SW range was formulated to meet the excessive demands for the lubrication of the slideways, toggles, and tie-bars of modern Die Cast Machines. Containing Friction Modifiers, this lubricant minimizes the occurrences of stick-slip at low speeds and high pressures, and provides protection against scuffing and seizures. LUBERITE SW also contains Tackifiers, Demulsfiers, and Anti-Rust additives, ensuring that its performance remains optimum despite the possible exposure from water-miscible die release agents.
Die Casting Release Agents
Fluid Solutions, Inc. recently partnered with GW Smith and Sons (Quaker Chemical Corporation USA) to introduce a comprehensive line of Aluminum Die Casting Release Agents under the Die-Slick brand. These products have been renowned world-wide for:
- Excellent Release and Die Protection
- No Stain or Buildup
- Stable Emulsion at High Ratios
- Bright and Shiny Castings
Silicone Containing
Die Slick 1750A Series
Die Slick 1750A Series – a semi-synthetic petroleum, and silicone oil-containing formulation that provides excellent release and bright castings. Incorporates Smart Polymer technology.
Die Slick 4517A Series
Die Slick 4517A Series – a synthetic and silicone-oil formulation, incorporating Smart Polymer technology. It provides protection on hot-areas to prevent soldering, but does not create build-up on the dies. Castings are bright and shiny.
Non-Silicone-Containing
Die Slick 240 VX
Die Slick 240 VX – a versatile semi-synthetic emulsion that does not contain silicones, and thus highly recommended for HDD and painting applications. It exhibits excellent release, minimal or no staining, and forms a stable emulsion. The product was formulated for the following applications:
ALUMINUM
ZINC
MAGNESIUM
Plunger Lubricants
Due to the elevated pressures generated at the shot-end of High Pressure Die Casting Machines (up to 10,000 psi), severe boundary lubricating conditions exists between the plunger tip and plunger sleeves at all times. To prolong plunger tip and sleeve life, and therefore to maximize productivity, Resource One developed a range of Plunger Lubricants that can maximize your Die Casting operations.
Mineral-Oil Based
Our LUBERITE PL 1000 HY Plunger Oil is a high-viscosity, mineral based oil containing Extreme Pressure (EP) additives.
Graphited Mineral-Based
Petrofer Piston Lubricant AP 270 contains micro-fine graphite particles that protect the sleeve and tip despite the loss of oil film lubrication at the injection stage of the Die Casting Process. Optimum wear protection is achieved using Piston Lubricant AP 270.
Fire Resistant Water-Based Plunger Lubricant
Quaker’s AQ 016M is a new technology water-based plunger lubrication that resists the generation of fire upon contact with molten aluminum. Moreover, AQ 016M provides superior tip and sleeve life compared to conventional water-based technologies. It may applied using spray systems, or the traditional drip-feed applicators.
Solid Piston Powder
Petrofer Piston Powder is a solid and beaded lubricant made of wax, designed to melt, spread and lubricate the tip and sleeve upon contact with the sleeve. This technology has provided the following benefits to its users:
- Excellent lubrication cost per shot vs oil based systems < 1.0 gram per shot on 350 ton machines
- Clean, oil-free machine, reducing environmental impact
- Lesser gas formation and porosity due to lower lubricating quantity required
- Reduced possibility of product staining
- Higher rate of recycling or re-melting Aluminum dross
Other Lubrication For Die Cast Machinery

Evaporative Stamping Oils and Fin Forming Oils
For light press and stamping operations, as well as fin stamping processes, vanishing oils are preferred as no post-stamping cleaning or degreasing processes are required. Our range of stamping oils use only highly refined isoparaffinic base-oils, ensuring a high-purity lubricant that possesses,
- Negligible Solvent Content
- Only Traces of Sulfur
- Clear Appearance
- Minimal Odor
To the end-user, this translates into less skin irritation, and increased user-comfort. Furthermore, the low sulfur content ensures minimal to zero possibility of product staining.
Heavy Duty Drawing Oils
Our range of Heavy Duty Drawing Oils have gained acceptance in the press industry in the Philippines. These drawing oils are available in different viscosities, base oils types, and EP packages.
